در این درس مباحث اصلی در انتخاب عمومی و اقتصاد سیاسی و سرفصلهای اصلی مرتبط با اقتصاد سیاسی کشورهای صادرکننده نفت بررسی میشود. در ابتدای درس دانشجویان با مفاهیم پایه اقتصاد سیاسی و انتخاب عمومی آشنا شده و پس از آن، موضوع تصمیمگیری جمعی و ضرورتهای برگزاری انتخابات و شکلگیری دموکراسی را فرا میگیرند. در ادامه، مدلها نظری مختلف رایگیری، رفتار نامزدهای انتخابات و نحوهی تصمیمگیری رایدهندگان معرفی میشوند. سپس، با اثر نظامهای سیاسی متفاوت بر عملکرد اقتصاد، نقش گروههای ذینفع و لابیگری و در نهایت نقش بروکراسی آشنا میشوند. در انتهای درس، برخی از مقالات کلیدی در حوزه اقتصادی سیاسی نفت و اقتصاد سیاسی تحریم را آموزش داده خواهد شد.
