Overall Educational Program Structure
The duration of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program remains 2 years (4 academic semesters), with a total requirement of 51 credits (including 3 compensatory credits). Therefore, students in this program are expected to graduate within 4 semesters. The program extends to a fifth semester only for students completing a thesis, which they must defend to finalize their degree.
The program offers seven specialized concentrations. The table below lists both their official designations—used by the Ministry of Science and the Educational Assessment Organization—and their abbreviated forms, which are employed internally within the school for ease of reference. These abbreviations will be used consistently throughout this document.
All students are required to complete four foundational courses in their first semester, which are common across all specializations. These courses are as follows:
- Principles of Accounting and Data Analysis
- Organizational Theories and Design
- Microeconomics
- Organizational Behavior
All students are required to take four core courses during their second semester, which are standardized across all specializations. The list of these courses is as follows:
- Corporate Financial Management
- Strategic Plannin
- Marketing Managemen
- Operations Management
Students in each specialization must complete 4 specialized courses (1 required course and 3 elective courses). The list of these courses for each specialization is provided in the following section.
Students in each specialization may choose any 3 elective courses from the full course catalog of the School, the complete list of which is provided in the final section of this report.
Additionally, students must register for their 6-credit thesis at the beginning of the fourth semester. Upon the discretion of their thesis supervisor, the Research Methods course may be required as a prerequisite for undertaking the thesis. In such a case, this course will replace one of the student's elective courses.
If a student opts not to complete a thesis, this is only permitted with the authorization of their academic advisor. In this case, and upon the advisor's discretion, the student will be required to take two additional specialized courses from their chosen specialization's curriculum.
